Chimborazo

Until the end of the 19th century, it was thought that Chimborazo was the tallest mountain in the world! Its peak is farther from the center of the earth that Mt. Everest's due to the earth being wider at the equator. Even so, I climbed to over 17,000 fe.et before succuming to altitude sickness
